Use

  • The primary goal would be for the web service to be used for educational purposes. Demonstration of CFD capabilities to the students. Example: computation of drag/lift for the flow past a circular cylinder, NACA profile, etc.
  • The webservice could also be used for student projects (smartfish at EPFL or bike in UIT Annecy).
  • Replace Fluent-like software for research purpose by researchers.

  • Long term benefits by making the webservice known to engineers who will work in industry

Disadvantages
